Stainless Steel Casters for Washdown, Marine & Corrosive Environments
we build SS304 and SS316 casters around one job: keeping the swivel turning and the structure intact where moisture, salt, and cleaning chemicals destroy ordinary plated hardware.
Corrosion does not start at the wheel — it starts at the fork and the bearing. in washdown kitchens, pharma cleanrooms, and coastal plants, a zinc-plated caster rusts at the raceway until the swivel locks and the whole unit has to be scrapped. we build these casters from 304 and 316 stainless steel with full stainless ball bearings and raceways, so the swivel keeps turning through saline, steam, and chemical wash instead of seizing.
Grade choice is the decision that protects the order. SS304 handles standard food-prep, lab, and hospital washdown at lower cost. SS316 adds molybdenum for chloride resistance, which is what stops pitting corrosion in marine, coastal, and high-salinity service where 304 would eventually fail. matching the grade to the environment is the difference between a caster that lasts and a warranty return.
Wheel material then tunes the behaviour. PU treads roll non-marking and quiet for hospital and lab floors; nylon shrugs off humidity, steam, and chemicals; elastic rubber runs silent under lighter loads. the range covers 50–250 mm diameters and loads to 600 kg, in top-plate, threaded, and expanding-stem mounts, all to ANSI/ICWM and ISO 22883 requirements. for a distributor, that grade-and-wheel logic is exactly the advice your buyers need before they order.

Grade selection & wheel-environment matrix
Match the steel grade to the corrosion risk, and the wheel to the floor and load.
Steel grade
Standard corrosion resistance for food prep, indoor labs, and hospitals. cost-effective for frequent washdown.
Molybdenum-enhanced for marine, coastal, and high-salinity service. superior resistance to chlorides and harsh chemicals.
Mounting & quality control
Three mounting standards, verified per production batch.
Mounting solutions
Fits round or square stainless tube from 19–40 mm — ideal for trolleys and prep tables.
4-bolt ISO-standard pattern for maximum stability on industrial equipment.
M12, M16, and imperial UNC, CNC-machined for a precise fit.
Quality control
Stainless components pass a 48-hour continuous salt-spray test for corrosion resistance.
AISI 304 / 316 chemical composition verified by spectrum analysis on every production run.
Endurance-tested over 10,000 m of travel under full-rated load without deformation.
Where these casters work
Washdown plants
304 stainless and washdown-safe construction for meat, poultry, and dairy areas. confirm food-contact compliance for your market.
Cleanrooms
Smooth, easily cleaned casters for sterile carts and equipment.
High salinity
SS316 series engineered for salt-spray and offshore equipment.
Sell it under your own brand
OEM / ODM branding and neutral packaging sized for regional distributors, not mass-OEM tonnage.
Your mark, or unbranded
we laser-etch or pad-print your logo, or ship unbranded. the buyer sees your brand, not ours.
Plain cartons or your artwork
packaging defaults to neutral cartons with no JRT marks; we also print boxes to your artwork, barcode, and SKU labels.
Distributor-scale
branding and neutral-pack run at distributor quantities. a bespoke profile follows the 24–48h drawing path.
Mixed-load stocking & container logistics
Stock range coverage without committing a full container to one model.
| Term | How it works |
|---|---|
| Mixed-load container | Consolidate stainless, food-service, and other caster types and grades into one container. |
| Per-model minimum | Held at distributor scale with no mass-OEM constraint, so you carry depth across models. |
| Container loading | we plan cartons per container to fill cube and weight efficiently. |
| Lead time | Standard models from stock; custom stems / branding follow 24–48h drawing, typically 14–21 days for bulk OEM. |
| Trade terms | FOB and CIF supported. confirm port, Incoterm, and per-model quantities on your quote. |
