How do I calculate the required load capacity for my equipment?
To ensure safety and durability, use this formula: (Weight of Equipment + Max Load) ÷ (Number of Casters – 1). We divide by “N-1” because floors are rarely perfectly level, often leaving one caster suspended. Leaving a 25% safety margin is recommended for heavy-duty industrial applications.
Which wheel material is best for heavy-duty industrial use?
It depends on your environment. Polyurethane (PU) is ideal for floor protection and noise reduction. Cast Iron or Steel wheels are best for extreme weight and high temperatures.
