Our Escalator (Travelator) Casters feature a multi-disk design. When the cart enters an escalator, the disks lock into the grooves of the moving walkway, effectively braking the cart and preventing it from sliding down the slope for maximum customer safety.
TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) is ideal for indoor supermarket floors as it is ultra-silent and non-marking. PU (Polyurethane) is better for heavy-duty trolleys or outdoor use due to its superior load capacity and abrasion resistance.
The most common industry standards are 100mm (4-inch) and 125mm (5-inch). 125mm wheels are typically preferred for larger 150L+ trolleys to ensure easier rolling when fully loaded.
